The Amazing POWER of Prayer!

Once again, I am humbled as I have seen God's hand MOVE in an amazing way in the past 24 hours.  Last night I sat messaging with the pastor in Kenya who runs Fiwagoh, the mission orphanage we will living at for several weeks in July.  I asked him if there was anything specific we could be praying for.  He responded YES.. and gave me details on one of their HIV girls.  So I posted it to all of my teams that have been at Fiwagoh and the one going in a few months....

PRAYER REQUEST  .. from Pastor Benson at Fiwagoh
We were messaging tonight and I asked him for any specific prayer request.
this was his response...
Ann Muthoni  14 years old HIV - has a bad case of sores on her head that ooze puss.
This is something that the children tend to get and pass around, but when you are a HIV, you have very little resistance and ability to fight it off.  They took her to the doctor yesterday and she needed very expensive medication.  They were able to pay for it, but she is in a lot of pain.  Team... lets PRAY for Ann - for healing and NO PAIN today.
It is early morning there and they are getting ready to have breakfast...
please pass this along to your friends/family.

(This was around 10:30pm last night our time... 5:30am today in Kenya)

I watched as my team members very quickly went to work
posting the request for family and friends to unite in PRAYER for this sweet girl.
Then when I got back on Facebook around 4:00pm today (11:00pm in Kenya)
I found the following post from the pastor...

So many thanks to all the prayer warriors for praying for Ann.  This was indeed a direct answer to the prayers of Gods faithful people.  Just before dark Ann was very happy praising the Lord.  She was totally out of pain.  I told her early morning that so many people were lifting her up in prayers, and she was so happy.  We are thankful for the power of prayer for Ann.

AMAZING...
TOTALLY OUT OF PAIN!!!

What a loving God
to hear the prayers of people on one continent
and answer them SO quickly
for a little girl half a world away...

"We receive not, because we ask not..."

So honored to watch HIS hand...
MOVE MOUNTAINS and REMOVE PAIN from a sweet little girl!

Thank you, Lord for the reminder to
TRUST YOU
and
COME BOLDLY TO YOUR THRONE!
