We leave on the 6:10am flight Sunday morning.
Please PRAY for....
- good weather
- safe flights
- sleep on the plane
- all luggage arriving
- all team members arriving :)
- good health
- safety in transportation (we will be on the road A LOT this trip!)
- effective ministry on the ground
- and that many orphans will know they are loved!!!
- (not only by us, but most importantly - by their HEAVENLY FATHER!)
We will be blogging as internet is available.
Our first day on the ground - Tuesday the 28th we will be at one of the 'remand' facilities.
Click HERE to see my post about this facility when Bret and I were there in March.
We are partnering with the ministry of Sixty Feet. Click on their name to read more about
their ministry so you can specifically pray for these kids.
We will be there all day Tuesday at one facility and then another on Wednesday morning.
These kids live and survive in very rough conditions.
We are going with arms full....
taking t-shirts for them to paint, bracelets for them to make, lots of sports equipment, games, and hoping to purchase milk, biscuits and fruit on the way there Tuesday morning.
(they rarely EVER get milk, meat or fresh fruits & veggies)
We are also taking LOTS of love from so many of you who have donated money and supplies.
THANK YOU!!!
Most of all we are taking the LOVE of JESUS to this very desperate place!
We are SO very thankful for each one of you...
partnering with us in PRAYER as we go to SERVE!
Next post ... from AFRICA!!

Wow! I can't believe how fast your trip got here. It doesn't seem that long ago that were were over there together.
Thank you so much for taking letters to "my" kiddos.
I am so excited to hear about this trip and all the NEW things God will be doing.
Praying for you today as you are already loving on those precious ones at a remand center. I think you already know...my heart is there with you all!! Asking the Lord to soften the hearts of the older children, so they can clearly see the free love of Jesus through you!. Love you guys!
