HIS Treasures...

Each day I wake with Africa on my mind.

Not JUST Africa, but...

all the little faces

all the longing eyes

all the reaching hands

all the hopeful hearts

... of God's 'treasures' in Africa.

There are days I wonder...

WHAT God is calling us to?

WHY He is calling US?

HOW can we make any difference at all?

And then I am reminded that He holds EVERYTHING in His hands.

He knows all about the WHAT, the WHY ...and the HOW.

ALL we need to do is OBEY...

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?

And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?

And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

And how can they preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, 

"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Romans 10:14-15

Liz and I are so excited to see what God has for us to learn as we prepare to go back to Uganda and Kenya in June!  Many details need to fall into place - but we have given those to the Lord, trusting the He will take care of every thing.

We are continuing to raise the needed funds to cover our travel costs.

YOU can be involved in several ways:

1. PRAY - that God will bring in the needed funds, that God will keep us both healthy, and that God will prepare our hearts for the work He has for us to do.


2. DONATE to our Fundraising Garage Sale.  We are having a huge neighborhood Garage Sale - May 19th!  What a great opportunity to sell lots of 'stuff' ...
